Called to Be Light in a Dark World

The world can feel heavy: anxious news cycles, strained relationships, and hearts that are tired from carrying too much. Jesus does not ask His people to blend into that darkness. He calls us to carry His light with humility, courage, and love.

That light does not come from our personality, platform, or confidence. It flows from staying close to Christ in Scripture, honest prayer, and faithful community. When we stay near Him, our words and choices begin to point others toward hope.

This week, look for one ordinary place to shine: a kind word, a patient response, a truthful conversation, or a quiet act of service. Small lights still matter. In Christ, they can help someone find the way home.
